Sedibeng TVET College is a public college under the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET). The college was formed in April 2002 as a result of the merger between Lekoa (now Sebokeng), Vereeniging and Vanderbijlpark Technical Colleges. The college has since established a satellite campus in Heidelberg in 2007.
Sedibeng TVET College is among the eight colleges situated in Gauteng Province. The college is situated in the South of Johannesburg in the Sedibeng District Municipality hence the Sedibeng which is a Sotho name meaning the ‘well’.
