Nurse Anaesthetist (1 position)
Job Descriptions
- Completing physical assessments of each patient
- Discussing the surgery and recovery with the patient prior to the procedure
- Preparing and administering the patient-specific amount of anesthesia needed for the procedure
- Maintaining the patient’s anesthesia levels during surgery
- Monitor the patient’s vital signs during a surgical procedure.
- Ensuring proper anesthesia recovery for patients until patients are transferred to care units
- Be an excellent communicator with the medical team to minimize risk to the patient during a surgical procedure.
- Maintain patient confidentiality while delivering the best quality of care possible.
- Keep current in the field to identify new technologies and anesthetic drugs in order to minimize risk and improve patient health.
- To perform duties of a nurse
- To record every procedure/service done to the patient and enter the same in HMS in an appropriate manners.
- To perform any other tasks as required by the supervisor
Qualifications
- Holder two (2) years Certificate in nursing and above.
- Holder of at least one year anaesthesthia certificate
- Must have a valid License to Practice.
- Must have at least two (2 Years) of experience in reputable institutions.
Additional Certifications
- Certificate in Computer application programs
Other Competences
- Fluent in English and Swahili, Team Player, Eager to learn from others, Work under minimum supervision
