I: Results aren’t complete because candidates don’t have Continuous Assessment (CA) scores for some but not all of the subjects offered.
W: Results were held back, thrown out, or canceled because a candidate was caught cheating or acting strangely before, during, or after the tests.
T: Results have been put on hold because candidates tried one or more classes for which they were not registered (private candidates).
ABS: The candidate didn’t take the test.
FLD: The candidate did not pass the test.

At all stages of production, distribution, storage, and transport, strict security measures are in place to protect all NECTA examination papers.
Police are always keeping an eye on exam question papers at cluster distribution centers and during distribution.
Police details Keep an eye on both the NECTA fleet and the courier services that move question papers for NECTA. Question papers are double-packaged with tamper-evident materials and then put in strong boxes that are sealed with our security seal or tape and strapped for extra safety.
The Council sends out exam question papers a few days before the start of the exam to make sure that they are not left out in the open or unprotected at centers for long periods before the exam. The Council checks on centers from time to time.
Police details also keep an eye on marking centers. Necta will do a detailed analysis of these results for each subject and give the results to education stakeholders, including all secondary schools in the country, so that teachers can use them to improve how they teach and how their students learn.
