1.0.30 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. To design, install and configure LAN and WAN infrastructure;
2. To review LAN and WAN architecture;
3. To test network equipment and devices;
4. To implement network security plan;
5. To perform network troubleshooting;
6. To provide technical support related to the networks;
7. To maintain and repair of all network managed by the Authority;
8. To participate in designing and installation of networks and related accessories and equipment;
9. To maintain and repair of Network active and passive equipment;
10. To troubleshoot all network related problems;
11. To undertake day to day management of LAN, wireless systems, telephone systems, leased lines etc;
12. To document and communicate network related problems, solution and the implementation process;
13. To assign network resources and user accounts;
14. To perform maintenance activities, systems backups and restore; and
15. To perform any other duties as may be assigned by Supervisor.

1.0.31 QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor Degree or Advanced Diploma in one of the following fields: Computer Science, Information and Communications Technology, Network Administration, or equivalent qualifications from recognized Institutions.

1.0.32 SALARY SCALE: TRAS 4
