High Schools In South Africa Application dates opening and Closing For 2023: The country’s provincial education departments operate according to different schedules when it comes to application deadlines. This comes as some provincial education departments have officially confirmed their application deadlines for 2023.

Thus, so far only three provinces have confirmed to their respective schools and districts as to when their High School applications will open and close.

• Kwa-Zulu Natal: 1 March and closes on 30 September 2022
• Western Cape: 14 March and closes on 15 April 2022.
• Gauteng: 10 August 2022 to 03 September 2022

Western Cape and Gauteng are the only provinces that require you to apply to multiple schools on a single platform. Other provinces need you to apply directly to the high schools that you have chosen.
