BDO East Africa – Tanzania is looking for an office assistant to be responsible for handling clerical tasks in our office.

For you to be selected as a candidate, you will need to meet the below requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Greeting clients and guests, phone etiquette and customer service
  • Routing/transferring calls email correspondence, be aware of various deadlines, answering incoming calls
  • Preparing and coordinating office files, basic clerical tasks, data entry and operating office equipment (scanner and printer)
  • Handling incoming calls and other communications.
  • Managing filing system.
  • Recording information as needed.
  • Greeting clients and visitors as needed.
  • Helping organise and maintain office common areas.
  • Organising travel by booking accommodation and reservation needs as required.

Requirements:

  • University education – Social, Humanities or Administrative Studies / Bachelor Degree preferred
  • Up to 1 year of experience in administrative, reception or office management
  • Communication and presentation skills (verbal & non-verbal)
  • A pleasing personality at all times
  • Advanced English communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a professional approach at all time
  • Advanced MS Office knowledge (MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Word)
  • Responsiveness, solution focus, drive and energy
  • Diligence, punctuality, a systematic responsible approach
