The Vice Chancellor of the Open University of Tanzania (OUT) would like to inform all job applicants that interviews are expected to be conducted from June 25, 2024, to June 27, 2024, and successful applicants will be assigned work stations.

Interview Guidelines:

Interviews will be conducted on the dates specified in this announcement. The time and place for each cadre’s interview are specified.

Each interviewee is required to arrive at the interview location wearing a face mask.

Each interviewee must have an identification card for identification purposes.

Acceptable identification cards include: Resident ID, Voter ID, Work ID, Citizenship ID, or Passport.

Interviewees must bring their ORIGINAL certificates, starting from the birth certificate, Form IV, Form VI, Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, and beyond, depending on the applicant’s qualifications.

Testimonials, Provisional Results, Statement of Results, Form IV and Form VI results slips WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AND CANDIDATES WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO CONTINUE WITH THE INTERVIEW.

Each interviewee will be responsible for their own food, transportation, and accommodation.

Each interviewee should take note of the date, time, and place of their scheduled interview.

For applicants who studied outside of Tanzania, please ensure that your certificates have been verified and approved by the relevant authorities (such as TCU, NACTE, or NECTA).

Job applicants whose names do not appear in this announcement should understand that they did not meet the criteria. Therefore, do not hesitate to apply again when job vacancies are announced and adhere to the requirements of the respective announcement.

For cadres that are required to be registered with their professional boards, they should come with their original registration certificates and work licenses.

All interviewees are advised to log into their accounts and copy their exam number as these numbers will not be provided on the day of the interview.

All interviewees are informed that the city of Dar es Salaam has traffic congestion depending on where you are coming from, especially during morning and evening hours. Therefore, you are advised to take into account the time of the interview.
Additional Notes:
- The interview will be conducted in English.
- Candidates are advised to dress professionally.
- Candidates should arrive at the interview venue at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time.
- Candidates will be allowed to bring a pen and a notepad to the interview.
- Electronic devices will not be allowed in the interview room.
- Candidates will be informed of the interview results within two weeks of the interview.
