The University of Zululand or Unizulu is the only comprehensive tertiary educational institution north of the Tugela River in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Its new status is in accordance with South Africa’s National Plan for Higher Education aimed at eradicating inequity and costly duplication.
Located in Northern KwaZulu-Natal, the University of Zululand (UniZulu) has established its place as a reputable contributor to South African higher education. The beginning of its developments can be traced to the mid 20th Century. UniZulu offers students tertiary qualifications in undergraduate and postgraduate degrees.
