The rice mill manager will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Processing of rice
- Supplier management with farmers and vendors
- Minimizing logistics costs like transport and warehousing
- Organizing exports
- Keeping accounting books and reporting to Flamingoo Foods headquarters
- Overseeing machine operator and machines maintenance
- High level of own decision making and business development
We are looking for a dedicated manager with the following abilities:
- High leadership abilities
- Integrity and honesty
- Business background, ideally a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Having working experience in accounting, entrepreneurship, food processing and/or food trading will be an advantage
- Hands-on, hardworking mentality and high extent of self-motivation
- Good knowledge of English, Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Ability to work within an intercultural team
- Good way of constant communication within the company and with customers
- Willingness to travel to a medium extent
- Willingness to stay in the rural area
