The Form Two National Assessment Formats have been designed with consideration for the themes specified in the currently implemented syllabuses. The Assessment Format Booklet contains the templates for all the subjects that will be evaluated in the Form Two National Assessment starting from 2017.

This pamphlet aims to provide additional assistance to teachers and other educational stakeholders regarding assessment procedures at the Form Two level. The formats are anticipated to assist educators and students in meeting the syllabus requirements for comprehensive syllabus coverage and the acquisition of information and skills. The assessment format books will assist examiners in creating assessment papers that meet the syllabus requirements.

The assessment types are specifically developed to be used in conjunction with the syllabi. Teachers are highly urged to utilize these format models while evaluating their students in order to align their assessment methods with those employed by The National Examinations Council of Tanzania. However, it is important not to replace the assessment procedures for each subject with the subject syllabi.
