Teofilo Kisanji University (TEKU) was established in 2006 and is a fully registered private higher learning institution with the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU). It is owned by the Moravian Church in Tanzania under the Board of Trustees as provided in University Charter and Trust Rules in accordance with the Universities Act No.7,2005.It is situated in South- Western Tanzania in Mbeya City. The University is located at BLOCK T along Tanzania- Zambia highway about 500 meters from the main road.
