Form One selection 2024 Tamisemi Majina Waliochaguliwa Kidato Cha Kwanza 2024 Necta Form one Selection for the year 2024 The National Examination Council of Tanzania has announced that pupils who successfully completed primary school in 2023 have been selected to join in secondary schools for the upcoming academic year of 2024.

The first category consists of a list of students who have been selected to join different government secondary schools. This opportunity is exclusively available to students who have successfully completed the Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) as notified by NECTA. The selected students are those who have achieved a grade average ranging from A to C.

Congratulations to all students who have been selected to join Form One. Those who have not been selected are recommended to wait for the Second Form One Selection.It should be emphasized that secondary schools do not distribute Joining Instruction forms to all pupils’ parents or guardians.
Students who have successfully completed the Standard Seven Examination (PSLE) are obligated to visit their chosen school in order to obtain their joining instructions. Alternatively, for those students who have been selected for boarding schools, Necta has established a user-friendly online platform where Form One 2024 students can easily access and download their joining instructions.

Regarding The National Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA) is a governmental entity established by the enactment of Parliamentary Act No. 21 of 1973. NECTA is responsible for overseeing the administration of all national examinations in Tanzania.
The establishment of NECTA was a result of Tanzania Mainland’s decision to withdraw from the East African Examinations Council (EAEC) in April 1971 and run its own examinations. Zanzibar withdrew from the East African Economic Community (EAEC) in 1970.
Tanzania underwent a withdrawal process during the period of 1968 to 1971 from the overseas Secondary School Examinations. These exams were jointly overseen by the East African Syndicate, which used to be solely administered by the Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate. The School Certificate and Higher School Certificate examinations were conducted by the Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate throughout that period.
