The Tanzania People’s Defence Forces (TPDF) is announcing recruitment opportunities for Tanzanian youths with Form Four and Form Six education. Additionally, this recruitment will include youths who are currently serving in the National Service ‘Operation General Venance Mabeyo’ camps and those who have completed their National Service training as per the law and under a voluntary contract.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR APPLICANTS (CURRENT AND EX-NATIONAL SERVICEMEN)
Youths interested in joining the military must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a Tanzanian citizen.
- Must be no older than 25 years.
- Must be in good physical and mental health.
- Must have good character and discipline, with no criminal record or previous imprisonment.
- Must possess a valid birth certificate.
- Must possess school certificates.
- Must not have served in the Police Force, Prisons, Training College, or Special Anti-Smuggling Unit.
- Must have completed two (2) years of voluntary National Service training or training as per the law and been awarded a certificate.
