The President’s Office, Regional Administration and Local Government, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, is continuing to implement the Tanzania Maternal and Child Health Investment Program (TMCHIP), funded by the World Bank. The President’s Office, Regional Administration and Local Government is inviting all qualified Tanzanian citizens to apply for 400 contract positions in various health cadres to work in different local government authorities across the country.

Graduates from recognized higher learning institutions and health training institutions are invited to submit their applications from 6th to 20th December 2024. The available positions are for holders of Certificates, Diplomas, and Degrees.
PROCEDURES FOR APPLYING FOR CONTRACT POSITIONS FOR HEALTH
Qualified health professionals are required to follow the same procedure of submitting applications online through the employment portal: ajira.tamisemi.go.tz. Applicants who have previously submitted their applications through this system are required to update their information and cover letters.
In essence, the announcement is calling for qualified healthcare professionals in Tanzania to apply for contract positions that are part of a larger government initiative to improve maternal and child health.
