Job Vacancies Nafasi Kazi TARURA Mwanza Dec 2021:Tanzania Rural and Urban Roads Agency (TARURA) is an Executive Agency of the President’s Office, Regional Administration and Local Government, (PORALG), established under Section 3 (1) of the Executive Agencies ACT. (Cap. 245) by Order published in Government Notice No. 211 dated May 12, 2017 and was inaugurated on July 2017. Tanzania Rural and Urban Roads Agency (TARURA) is vested with the responsibility of managing the development, rehabilitation, maintenance, axle load control; environmental and road reserve management of rural and urban roads network for the social — economic development of Tanzania.
On behalf of the Chief Executive Officer, Regional Manager of TARURA in Mwanza Region intends to recruit self-motivated, qualified and competent Tanzanians to fill the following vacant posts on temporally contracts.
POSITION TITLE: INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY (ICT) OFFICER 11 (1 POST)
Salary: According to TARURA Salary Scale.
Duty stations: (Mwanza Regional Manager’s Office)
Education / Professional qualifications:-
i. Holder of Bachelor Degree or Advanced Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Database Administration, Computer Systems Analysis,
Computer Systems Security, Network Administration, Web and Multimedia Administration, Computer Applications, Computer Programming or equivalent qualifications from a recognized Institution.
ii. Must be a Tanzanian citizen.
iii. Self-motivation, able to work under pressure outside working hours with minimum supervision iv. Fluent in both Kiswahili and English
Work Experience: At least 1 year
Age limit: Not above 45 years of Age
Duties and Responsibilities:
Designing, installing and configuring LAN and WAN infrastructure
ii. Reviewing LAN and WAN architecture
iii. Testing network equipment and devices
iv. Implementing network security guidelines
v. Performing network troubleshooting and repair
vi. To perform any other related duties as may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor
