Seeking a Consultant for Policy Brief Development on Uluguru Spice Project and Farmer-Centered Research for Agroecology Methodology
Sustainable Agriculture Tanzania (SAT) is inviting applications from qualified consultants to develop a policy brief on the Uluguru Spice Project and the Farmer-Centered Research for Agroecology (FCRA) methodology. The Uluguru Spice Project, supported by the Austrian Development Agency, aims to improve the livelihoods of small-scale farmers in the Uluguru Mountains through sustainable agriculture and market linkage. The project adopts the innovative FCRA methodology, connecting farmers with students to promote knowledge exchange and sustainable agricultural practices.
The consultant will be responsible for reviewing project materials, liaising with stakeholders, analyzing findings, and developing a concise policy brief targeting policymakers, development partners, and other relevant stakeholders. Applicants should have a background in agriculture, environmental science, rural development, public policy, or a related field, with proven experience in policy analysis and brief writing.
