Reporting Dates and Locations

JKT has designated specific camps for training, and you are required to report to your assigned camp between June 1st and 7th, 2024. The assigned camps are:

Required Items for Reporting

Please bring the following items with you when reporting to your assigned camp:

1. Dark blue Bukta with a waist strap, one back pocket, knee-length, and no zipper.

2. Green Vest (T-shirt)

3. Green or blue sports shoes

4. Two blue sleeping sheets

5. Black long socks

6. Cold weather gear for those assigned to cold regions

7. Green or blue track suit

8. All necessary documents for admission to Higher Education, including birth certificates, Form Four graduation certificates, etc.

9. Travel fare for both going to the camp and returning home

Accessing Camp Information and Names

To access the complete list of names, assigned JKT camps, camp locations, and required items, please visit the JKT website: https://www.jkt.go.tz

Alternatively, you can access the information via mobile phone by dialing USSD CODE 15200#. Then, select No 8 (Education) followed by No 5 (‘KT’). Enter your school code and your three names, and you will be shown your assigned camp and its location. This service is available for users of all mobile networks in Tanzania.

JKT Encourages Participation

JKT encourages all eligible Form Six graduates to participate in the National Service Training Program. It’s an excellent opportunity to develop personal skills, discipline, and patriotism while contributing to national development.
