Vaal University of Technology is a tertiary institution in South Africa. It attracts students from all over the country. It is one of the largest residential Universities of Technology, with about 15,000 students, 300 programs, all primarily taught in English.
Located just south of Johannesburg, the Vaal University of Technology takes pride in its vision to foster an innovative university body that produces skilled graduates whose work will have a positive impact on society. Its origins can be traced back to the mid 20th Century and, with the transformation of South African Technikons, it was established as the Vaal University of Technology in 2004. VUT focuses on educating its students through cutting–edge technology.
