The Mangosuthu University of Technology is a University of Technology situated on the outskirts of Durban, South Africa, on a site overlooking the Indian Ocean. MUT is located in the academic hub in the eThekwini metropole, a dynamic growing economy, focused for future growth.
The Mangosuthu University of Technology (MUT), named after Mangosuthu Buthelezi (founder of the Inkatha Freedom Party), is located on the coast just outside Durban. It comprises of approximately 10 000 students. The institution has two campuses which are both located on the public transport access route. MUT aims to provide students with valuable academic programs, academic support services as well as sports activities and a sense-of-community service.
