Tanzania Immigration Services offers(nafasi za kazi Uhamiaji 2024) opportunities to a large number of Tanzanian Citizens to be recruited into the Tanzanian Immigration Services.

The Commissioner General of Immigration, acting under the authority vested in me by Regulation 11(1) of the Immigration Operations Regulations of 2018, hereby announces new job vacancies for Tanzanian youth who meet the following qualifications:

1. QUALIFICATIONS OF APPLICANTS

  • Must be a Tanzanian citizen;
  • Must be unemployed or have never been employed by any government institution;
  • Must possess a birth certificate;
  • Must have a National ID or National Identification Number issued by the National Identification Authority (NIDA);
  • Must be in good physical and mental health;
  • Must not have used any drugs;
  • Must have no record or information of involvement in any criminal or illegal activities;
  • Must not have any tattoos on their body;
  • Must be unmarried and have no children;
  • Age limits:
    • Form Four graduates: 18-22 years
    • Form Six and Diploma holders: 18-25 years
    • Degree/Postgraduate Diploma holders: 18-30 years
  • Must be willing to work for the Immigration Department anywhere in Tanzania;
  • Must be willing to cover all costs associated with the recruitment process.

2. PREFERRED APPLICANTS: Preference will be given to applicants with degrees/postgraduate diplomas, diplomas, and advanced diplomas from government-recognized institutions in the following fields: International Languages, Administration, Law, Public Relations, ICT, Social Work, Executive Secretaryship, Accounting, Procurement and Supply (registered with the Board), Statistics, Economics, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Mechanics, AC Technician, Cyber Security, Brass Band, and Printing.

3. HOW TO APPLY: ALL job applications must be submitted through the Immigration Department’s website: https://www.immigration.go.tz starting from November 29, 2024, and the deadline for applications is December 13, 2024.

When applying, applicants are required to attach (upload) the following documents in PDF format (each document should not exceed 300Kb) to the application system:

  • Recent passport-sized photo in jpg/png format not exceeding 300Kb for uploading to the system;
  • Handwritten job application letter;
  • Letter of introduction from the local government/village/ward; for those who were in JKT/JKU camps, a letter of introduction from the camp commander;
  • Birth certificate;
  • National ID (NIDA) or NIDA number for registration on the system;
  • Index numbers of Form Four and Form Six examination certificates to be filled in on the application form;
  • Other certificates for various qualifications at the advanced diploma, diploma, and degree/postgraduate diploma levels (if any) and must be verified by the respective institutions;
  • Professional registration certificates for professions requiring registration with a board;
  • Applicant’s curriculum vitae (CV).

4. CAUTION: (i) All applications will be received in the manner specified in paragraph 3 above and no other way; (ii) Any applicant found to have submitted forged documents will face legal action, including being taken to court; (iii) Beware of fraudsters who ask for money or bribes of any kind to help you get a job.
