The Inspector General of Police announces to all successful candidates who have been selected to join the Tanzania Police Force that they are required to report to the Police Training School in Moshi from 30th September 2024 to 2nd October 2024 for training.

Reporting Instructions:
- Candidates who were interviewed at the Police Training College in Dar es Salaam (DPA) and units under Police Headquarters: Report to Dar es Salaam Police Barracks, Kilwa Road, near the Police General Hospital on 30th September 2024 at 12:00 noon for the journey to the Police Training School in Moshi.
- Candidates who were interviewed in regions within mainland Tanzania: Report to the Regional Police Commanders where they were interviewed on 29th September 2024 at 2:00 AM for travel arrangements to the Police Training School in Moshi.
- Candidates who were interviewed in Zanzibar (Unguja and Pemba): Report to the Zanzibar Police Headquarters (Ziwani) on 29th September 2024 for travel arrangements.
Required Items:
- Uniforms: Blue tracksuit with white stripes, white plain t-shirt, black socks, two pairs of blue shorts for sports and exercises, and a blue metal trunk.
- Bedding: White round cap, two pairs of light blue sheets, one gray blanket without flowers, and a charcoal iron.
- Cleaning materials: Rake, hoe with a handle, panga, two small buckets, and a long-handled broom.
- Medical insurance: A National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF) card or Tsh. 50,400/= in cash for those without NHIF cards.
- Documents: Original academic certificates, original birth certificate, NIDA card or National Identification number, copies of NIDA cards or National Identification numbers of parents and close relatives (such as paternal or maternal uncles, aunts, grandparents, etc.), six passport-sized photos with a blue background, and five copies of each document listed above.
- Personal funds.
Important Notes:
- Mobile phones are prohibited: Mobile phones are not allowed in the training school. Anyone found with a mobile phone will be considered to have committed a disciplinary offense and will be expelled from the training immediately. The school will provide instructions on how to communicate.
- Reporting deadline: Candidates who report to the Police Training School in Moshi after 2nd October 2024 will not be accepted and will be considered to have voluntarily withdrawn from the training.
