The Executive Director of Newala District Council has received a new employment approval with Ref. No. FA. 971288101109 dated 25 June, 2024, with positions of Village Executive Officer Grade III (8) and Records Assistant Grade II (5) from the Secretary General, President’s Office – Public Service Management and Good Governance. Therefore, the Executive Director of Newala District Council is advertising these positions and invites applications from qualified Tanzanians to fill these positions as follows

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS FOR ALL APPLICANTS
Citizenship. Applicants must be Tanzanian citizens aged between 18 and 45 years, except for those already in government service.
People with Disabilities. Applicants with disabilities are encouraged to apply and should specify their disability on the job application system for the attention of the Public Service Employment Secretariat.
Application Requirements. All applicants should submit a detailed curriculum vitae (CV) with their current address, working telephone numbers, and email address, together with the names of three reliable referees.
Current Government Employees. Applicants who are already public servants and have qualified for different cadres from their current ones should submit their applications through their employers.
Supporting Documents. All applicants should attach certified copies of their academic and professional certificates, including Form Four and Six certificates (for those who have attained this level) and certificates of completion of various trainings, considering the qualifications for the respective positions. These documents include:
- Postgraduate/Degree/Advanced Diploma/Diploma/Certificates
- Form IV and VI examination certificates
- Computer Certificates
- Professional Certificates from Respective Boards
Unacceptable Documents. Testimonials, provisional results, statements of results, and Form IV and Form VI results slips will NOT be accepted.
Foreign Qualifications. Applicants who studied outside Tanzania should ensure that their certificates have been verified and certified by the relevant authorities (TCU, NECTA, and NACTE).
Retired Public Servants. Â Retired public servants are not allowed to apply unless they have obtained permission from the Secretary to the Cabinet.
Current Employees in Applicable Positions. Applicants who are already employed in applicable positions in the public service should not apply and should adhere to the instructions contained in Circular No. CAC.45/257/01/D1140 of 30th November, 2010.
False Information. Applicants who provide false information and qualifications will be subject to legal action.
Shortlisting. Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews.
